About Michael

I have likely been where you are now.

You are thinking, “do I really need help?” or “I can probably tough this out” or “this is expensive, I don’t need to do this.” You are considering getting some help and want to make the best possible choice. Someone who gets it and can help you move through this phase of life. I was there.

The first thing you should know about me is I am in recovery. I have been in recovery since 2012. About 3 years into the recovery process, I was asking the questions and having the feelings above. I made the decision to trust my gut and make the call to get some help. I was struggling with my emotions and not sure what to do. I went through a few therapists before I found the right one. That therapist helped by giving me space to explore my feelings and educating me on the reasons I was reacting the way I was. The process wasn’t easy. It felt arduous at times and I sometimes wanted everything to be simpler. It was through that process I gained freedom and confidence to go through life with ease and purpose.

This is what I offer you. I will go through your unique healing process with you. I will help you discover the ways in which your patterning is holding you back from the life you want to live. We will process together unresolved issues on your path to freedom. My style is engaging, not passive. I will challenge you to look deeper into your feelings and let go of the ones no longer serving you.

You will find the space I offer safe and inclusive. This will allow to move through what you need to and find that ease and freedom you’re looking for.

I believe it’s important you find a therapist you feel comfortable being honest with. Without that level of trust, a full healing process is unlikely. This is why I put forth the honesty I have just offered. I hope you find it comforting that someone would be that honest with you. That’s what you will find if you want to work with me. I will be honest with you. You can heel in a relationship like that.

If this sounds right to you, please reach out and we can talk about next steps.
